A tired old year slips out the door.
His time is done, a completed chore.
And no one will miss him; that's for sure.
For as the hours ticked down on 2009
It's easy to leave the past behind.
His time is done, a completed chore.
And no one will miss him; that's for sure.
For as the hours ticked down on 2009
It's easy to leave the past behind.
For on January l, 2010
Another new year will begin.
and everywhere once again
Hopes and dreams will crush the fear
As we dare to embrace the coming year.
Our expectations are soaring high.
There is no limit except the sky.
For once again time is on our side
As a fresh new year is welcomed in.
It feels like a good one, this 2010.
