I made resolutions, but didn't stay strong
Another list I'll make and begin
Making progress in the first few days of 2010
In 2010, I'll make Christmas peace last
Within my heart, holding these feelings fast
A new decade, like a blank slate in front of me
I'll take a step forward into a sea of possibility
As clocks chime midnight throughout the land
May we all start this year by lending a hand
Make a resolution on New Year's Day 2010
To be a better you than you've ever been
Forget about perfection, flawed are we all
Look to your heart, not a mirror on the wall
For all your dreams and deepest desires
Let no one put out your inner fire
Bring on 2010, let the fireworks begin
My resolutions this year come from within
Make dreams an action played during the day
And never forget to make time for play
Happy New Year 2010
Happy New Decade, another ten
To friends and family, strangers too
Here's a new chance for a better you.
