Snowflakes fall gently to the ground,
Past my head, 'round and 'round.
I peek in the front window. What a sight to see!
The guests are all dancing merrily.
"Time to go into the party," I think aloud,
And I happily join the gathered crowd.
Laughing and talking are all around
Until we hear the following countdown:
"Three...two...one..." I hear,
Then the voices sing, "Happy new year!"
