Daniel Bryan
This submission machine has elevated himself to main event status already, as he is the reiging United States Heavyweight Champion. Still, the World Titles elude him--but not for long. Bryan will hold WWE Gold in a very short time in the coming New Year, and will be one of the biggest stars in the wrestling business.
The Miz
The Miz is already a World Champion, but he is still considered to be a baby to the main event scene. His current run as champion is not particularly respected, though he is doing exactly what the WWE wants. He is becoming a mega heel character that the WWE so desperately needs. By this time next year, the Miz will be the most hated man in wrestling history. That is a good thing for his future prospects.
John Morrison
Morrison has been "on the cusp" of stardom for years, but it appears his recent feud with the Miz might finally be his chance to carry the gold. Morrison has plenty of in ring skills, but he is a liability on the mic. If they can finally find the right combination of mic skills and in ring work, then Morrison has the best chance to reach superstardom on this list.
C.M. Punk
While Punk is an established entity in the WWE, he has not nearly reached his full potential. Given that Punk has held the title on multiple occasions, that says alot about just how good he really is. Punk is nearing Chris Jericho status as a heel and once he takes the reigns of the Nexus, he will move even closer. Punk is going to be huge in the coming New Year.
Dolph Ziggler
Dolph falls into the same category as Punk, only he has not had the title reigns as world champ. That will change in the coming New Year. Ziggler is so over with WWE crowds that he is approaching main event heat. Once Ziggler gets the title, he may run with it for a very long time. Expect big things from Dolph in the coming New Year.

Post a CommentJohn Morrison is a good pick.
CM Punk just needs to go away.. .this whole new thing with Nexus really blows. I don't like his character at all even though he does a good job in a 'leadership' role. I just wish his character wasn't such a d$ck. As much as Drew McIntyre is a jerk, I think he might break out big this year.
Good picks, all these guys will step up huge in 2011.
