New Year's Coloring Pages and Printables for Kids

Fun for Kids for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day

Cindy Lynn
Kids love coloring, and what could be more fun for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day than a new box of crayons (hopefully Santa brought some for Christmas) and fun, coloring pages? Not only will the links below take you to some delightful, down-loadable coloring pages for New Year's fun, but some of them can be used through out the year, as well.

TheColor.com: This is a fun site because not only does it have tons of pages and topics, it also has six New Year's pages that can be printed for coloring. The site states that kids can also color the pages on-line, if an adult registers at the site. The New Year's pages are pictures of champagne, confetti, Father Time, fireworks, partying, and Times Square ball.

About.com: There are fifteen New Year's down-loadable pages here, including several of Father Time, New Year's babies, party-goers and alarm clocks. My favorite coloring page showed a cute alarm clock ringing at midnight.

FreePrintableColoringPages.net: The eleven pages at this site contain several New Year's babies, including one of a New Year's baby on a rocket, as well as Father Time and party-goers.

Crayola.com: What better place to find down-loadable coloring pages for children than at Crayola? Their selection of seven different pictures includes party balloons, confetti with party hats, ringing alarm clock, Father Time, sands of time, classroom party, and my favorite-two children dressed as Uncle Sam and the Statue of Liberty, ringing in the New Year.

Pastiche Family Portal: January 1st date, party hats, New Year's baby, balloons and clock, fireworks, and the words, "Happy New Year" are all available for coloring fun. The site contains seven printable pictures.

Apples4TheTeacher.com: Seven pictures worth of fun that include a New Year's snowman, Father Time, party-goer, noisemaker, and a clock. This is another site where the kids can choose to color on-line or print the page.

ColoringBookFun.com: Ten pages with funky, cute images to color. The site does have an ad that shows up when you first click on the coloring page, but it also allows you to click to skip the ad. Images include a big 1, a crown, clock with champagne glasses, Jan 1, Lady Liberty, Baby New Year and an hourglass.

PrimaryGames.com: Baby New Year, Father Time, hourglass, the words, "Happy New Year," party-goers, and clocks of various types can be found on these thirteen coloring pages.

EduPics.com: Four cute pictures that include a New Year's family celebration, fire cracker, fireworks and a champagne toast. The fireworks printable is interesting because the background is black and the kids color in the fireworks.

Kaboose.com: Although Kaboose only has one New Year's coloring page, it's included in this list so that when your kids get tired of coloring, they can try the New Year's crafts.

Cottonelle: Although not a New Year's coloring page in the strictest definition ... okay, honestly, it's doesn't have a New Year's theme at all ... these four pages of the Cottonelle puppy are so cute that any kid would love to color them. What better way to start out the new year than by coloring a mischievous puppy?

Thanks, Elizabeth. I have a book launch tomorrow, and so haven't had a chance to read your content lately, but love the things you write, too.
