It's New Year's Day, I have to be,
A little tired from New Year's Eve.
I'll sit and sit and sit some more,
On the couch or on the floor.
I'll have a sandwhich or two or three,
And then take down the Christmas tree.
Tomorrow back to work I go,
At least they're not calling for snow.
