New Year's Day Sauerkraut Limerick Poem

A Limerick Poem About Sauerkraut and New Year's Day

Marie M. Daniels
There once was a girl named Fae.
Who ate Sauerkraut on New Year's Day.
But the kraut was nowhere to be found,
To be eaten and have good luck abound.
She would have to find good luck some other way.

I don't care if eating sauerkraut on New Year's Day is a tradition that is supposed to bring you good luck all year that stuff is nasty. Then again maybe that is why I always seem to have bad luck, maybe I will try some sauerkraut this year for better luck.
