New Year's Eve 2010 is drawing near and Knoxville, Tennessee offers a variety of events, celebrations and parties to satisfy every need. Everything from family friendly to wild and crazy, from sophisticated to hoe-down, Knoxville has the New Year's Eve 2010 party scene covered. First Night Knoxville

If you are looking for a family-friendly, alcohol-free setting in which to celebrate New Year's Eve 2010 then check out First Night Knoxville. This year, party-goers will ring in the 2010 New Year while enjoying a large variety of activities in downtown Knoxville, Tennessee. Entertainment will include a children's festival, live bands, circus entertainers, dancing lessons and much more. Attendees must purchase a First Night Admission button to attend any of the celebrations. The buttons go on sale December 1, 2009 and can be purchased online and at retailers throughout Market Square. Buttons are $10 in advance or $15 on the day of the event. Kids 6 & under are admitted free. During the month of January, First Night buttons will earn you discounts at many area businesses.

Celebrate New Years Eve 2010 with live entertainment from award winning blues singer Teeny Tucker and the Slow Blind Hill band, one of Knoxville's longest-running blues bands.
