New Year's Eve Entertainment in Orlando, Florida

Orlando Has the Best New Year's Parties in Florida

Heather de Winter
Every night is a party in Orlando, but things really heat up on New Year's Eve. Here are some of the one-of-a-kind New Year's Eve attractions in Orlando that you just won't see anywhere else.

Universal Citywalk, Universal Studios Orlando

Takin' the Party to the Streets

Admission: $119 if purchased before December 20. After, it'll cost you $124

Universal Orlando Citywalk is so packed with people and sound and lights you might think you were on the Las Vegas strip. The Takin' the Party to the Streets New Year's Eve event opens at 8 pm at Universal Orlando Citywalk and goes until 2 am. The price of admission includes a Doobie Brothers concert as well as live entertainment in each of Citywalk's seven night clubs, all-you-can-eat filet mignon (among other delicacies) and a champagne toast at midnight.

In addition to saving $5 by purchasing tickets early, partygoers can save another $5 and get express line access when they pay with their American Express cards.

Hard Rock Café

(407) 351-LIVE

Hard Rock Live New Year's Eve: Pink Floyd

Admission: $35-$50 in advance, $40-$55 day of show

This is an event I could totally get into. Hard Rock's Classic Albums Live program brings professional studio musicians and vocalists together to recreate some of rock and roll's most famous albums - note for note with arrangements and instrumentation done just the way it was on the original album. Hard Rock Orlando is honoring Pink Floyd this New Years Eve. Doors open at 8 and the show starts at 9.

Cirque du Soleil, La Nouba

(407) 939-7600

New Year's Eve at Cirque du Soleil

Admission: $79-$143

As if seeing Cirque du Soleil perform wasn't cool enough, on New Year's Eve admission includes tickets to La Nouba by Cirque du Soleil, a souvenir program with a commemorative insert, a champagne toast and a special New Year's Eve finale. The Cirque du Soleil La Nouba theater is an Orlando favorite and is located at Downtown Disney so arrive early if you feel like doing a little shopping or dining.

Atlantic Dance Hall

(407) 939-6244

Atlantic Dance Hall New Year's Eve

Admission: $10

If dancing is your scene and affordable Orlando entertainment is what you seek, Atlantic Dance Hall at Disney's Boardwalk is just the New Year's Eve party for you. "Dueling video DJs" spin music favorites from the 80's, 90's and today. The vibe is casual and the champagne is chilled. Doors open at 11 and the party goes until 2.

The Parliament House

(407) 425-7571 ext. 711

New Year's Eve Party: $20

New Year's Eve Dinner: $28.95

Parliament House is known as Orlando's premiere gay attraction and "the World's Largest Gay Resort and Entertainment Complex". In addition to a rare performance by recording artist Inaya Day just after midnight, disco dancing, go-go dancers and chocolate dipping station, Parliament House will be serving a grand gourmet dinner for couples. There are three seatings, 6:30, 8:00 and 9:30 and reservations are highly recommended. Dinner includes wine or champagne.
