Flour Tortillas

Cream Cheese

Refried Beans

Spread refried beans on the tortilla then spread the cream cheese on top of the refried beans. Roll up the tortilla tightly. Leave in the fridge for a bit so the tortilla does not unroll. Bring out of the fridge and slice the tortilla into pinwheels. These would look great spread on a fancy plate with a small dish or guacamole or salsa in the center.

Your favorite cheese(s)

Whip up this easy appetizer recipe just before the guests arrive. Lay one tortilla flat. Slice the cheese and spread it in an even layer across the tortilla. Place another tortilla on top. Heat a pan without oil. Lay the quesadilla in the pan until cheese begins to melt. Flip the quesadilla and heat until cheese is melted. This should not take very long. Cut the quesadilla as you would a pizza. Fan out on a nice dish with guacamole or salsa for dipping.

New Year's Eve Party Tortilla Appetizers: Tortilla Pizzas

Pizza Sauce

Pizza Toppings

This may be best for smaller groups as you do not want to spend the entire party cooking. Set out the tortillas, sauce and a large variety of pizza toppings. Let each person create their own personal pizza then bake them in the oven at 375 degrees. Bake until the cheese melts. If cheese wasn't used on the pizza then watch carefully so it does not burn.

Use these appetizers made with tortillas for your next New Year's Eve Party.
