New Year's Eve can be a crazy time filled with crowds, expensive dinner reservations and chaos. But with the right planning, you can stay on-top of the day with your New Year's party ideas. Everyone brings different dishes and as a host, you don't want people to bring in doubles. So discuss with everyone and find out what they will all be bringing. Nothing worse than arriving at a house full of nothing but salads and buns!

Seventh, and lastly, have a themed event. Who says halloweeners have all the fun! This is a time to have an 80's flashback. Have simple gifts and again, it is enhanced when everyone can bring some food to share with the bunch.
