2010 is when?
Now you say?
But wasn't it '09 just the other day?
How do these years get away?
Now I'll write my checks all wrong
and feel as if I don't belong
just 10 years past the gong
of the millenium.
I'll be crossing out the date
like I did after '08
learning to write '09 so late
it was pandemonium.
Now I'll be doing it again
only this time with oh - ten
and that will be distressing, friend
and deplete my seroton-ium.
When I finally get the whole thing down
saying two thousand ten all over town
2011 will roll around.
It's just draconian!

I agree. I didn't even know what to call it, two thousand ten, twenty ten? Then I heard people calling it both. Phew! One less thing to worry about.
I was just saying the other day, where DID the last 20 years go!
