New Years Punch Recipes with Rum

Here are some great New Year's Eve punch recipes to put the pirate in your 2011 party!

Salty's Island Rum Punch

1 can pineapple juice
2 liter ginger ale
4 shots Roses Grenadine
1 (16-ounce) can Coco Lopez
1 bottle dark rum
2 oranges

Slice oranges. Mix other ingredients in punch bowl and float oranges on top.

New Year's Cherry Punch

1 (6-ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
1 (6-ounce) can frozen limeade concentrate, thawed
1 (20-ounce) can pineapple chunks, undrained
1 bottle rum
1 (2 liter) bottle cherry soda, chilled
1 (2 liter) bottle ginger ale, chilled
Lemon and lime slices

In a blender, combine concentrates and pineapple; cover and blend until smooth. Pour into a gallon-size container; stir in water. Store in the refrigerator.

To serve, pour the mixture into a punch bowl; add cherry soda and ginger ale. Pour in rum and let the lemon and lime slices float in the bowl.

Southern Rum Runner Punch

1 bottle light rum
3 liters ginger ale
ΒΌ cup lemon juice
2 quarts fruit punch
1 quart orange juice or pineapple juice
1 lemon, sliced
3 dashes hot sauce

Mix all ingredients and float lemon slices in punch bowl.
