New York City Nightlife Part III

Crobar
If you plan to go anywhere in New York City to experience the nightlife Crobar has to be on your list of places to go. In fact, it's so renowned and good that it might be the only place that you end up visiting. The best DJs in not only the city, but the world can be found right in Crobar, along with a massive crowd, which it always seems to have. Perhaps one of the only clubs worth a cover charge, make sure you visit Crobar at least once in your lifetime, you won't regret it. It may just be the best dance club in all of New York City.

Marquee
Stop. Before you even think about just showing up at Marquee you have to make sure that you've never dressed better in your life and that you bring along a few gorgeous faces. Otherwise, you'll be hard pressed to gain entry into this particular dance club, where only the best are allowed to enter. Vanity is king and it has never been truer, at least not for a club. The design of the club is simply amazing and the wishbone staircase is simply amazing. The music varies wildly, so there shouldn't be a problem finding something that you can move your body to, the problem will be whether you're moving it outside or in.
Address: 289 10th Ave, New York, NY 10001

Copacabana
Depending upon when you arrive to the dance club, you'll either be greeted with traditional Spanish dance such as merengue or salsa or with reggaeton and hip hop. Lessons are offered on particulate dates for traditional dance; make sure to contact the club if you're interested. Copacabana is simply one of New York City's more famous spots (due in no small part to a particular famous event involving New York Yankee players), so make sure to do your homework before you find yourself left out in the wind.

The Broadway Comedy Club
Boasting four national headliners every night and everyone show, The Broadway Comedy Club is one of New York City's best comedy clubs, at least in terms of star power. Sketch comedy is also included in the activities, with the longest running improvisation show in the city. Also, be aware: the audience is a target for certain comedians, though you probably shouldn't worry about a Michael Richards type of situation in this club.

Laugh Factory
There's not much that needs to be said about the world famous Laugh Factory, except that you should plan ahead. Anything else and you'll find yourself not being able to experience some of the best comedy in New York City. All-Star Comedy allows guests to see known comedians, thus allowing them to expect a good amount of comedy and not an amateur that'll fall flat on their face and even then, one of the lesser known comedians you might be watching might end up being the next big thing.

Neighborhood: Theatre District

Some people dance, some people sing. I write. To me, there's nothing quite like the written word whether it's fiction or the latest sprawling headline in the news. Thing to Improve Upon: Proofing Content  View profile
