New York Color Lengthening Mascara - Beauty Review

My family and I recently returned from a week long vacation in South Carolina. While completing the tedious chore of unpacking and returning items to it's proper places, I discovered that I had made the trip home without my mascara. I am fiercely loyal to the cosmetics brands that I know and love, so I was quite disappointed to discover that my favored pricey mascara had not accompanied me on the trip home. I made a quick run to the local drugstore and decided to take a chance on New York Color Lengthening Mascara. Thinking that this inexpensive cosmetic would serve as a substitute until I could make the proper replacement, I did not have the highest expectations for this product.

I was certainly happy to pay only $1.99 for this point twenty three fluid ounce cosmetic. My usual favorite costs over ten dollars so I definitely appreciated the low cost. Displayed nicely among the other products that this line has to offer, their lengthening mascara has some splashy packaging featuring a claim that this cosmetic offers the benefit of sixty percent longer lashes. As I have matured, my lashes have definitely become a bit shorter and skimpier, so a longer lash line is definitely a desire of mine.

Application of this product is quite simple and is made even easier by the length of the styling wand. A certain length of product grip is required for many of us to ensure positive results. My hands tend to shake slightly during makeup application, so I always appreciate a wand or brush that has some length or weight to it. The size of the brush was definitely in my favor as it afforded me a bit of stability as I applied the product to my lashes. I loved how just a bit of the mascara from the tube was required to give my eyelashes a bit of color and length. All too often, a product works wonderfully, but the quantity needed to acquire positive results far outweighs the savings. Not so with this product. Just a push or two of the wand into the tube delivered enough product to give my lashes a nice amount of length and fullness.

If clumps and stickiness and attributes you hate about your favorite mascara, you may just consider switching to New York Color Lengthening Mascara. Even after applying an extra coat for good measure, my lashes had no unsightly clumping or sticky spots. Each lash was clean and appeared very natural. Considering that more than one coat was applied to achieve a bit of a more dramatic look, this is definitely a major point in this product's favor.

I truly can not find one negative to say about this product. The price was more than affordable, the design of the wand makes application a snap, and the performance of the mascara rivals it's most fierce competitor. I absolutely love this inexpensive cosmetic and am quite pleased that circumstances allowed me to discover it. In addition to saving a few bucks every month on this makeup staple, my lashes have simply never looked better. I happily give this mascara a full five star beauty rating.
