New York Governor Eliot Spitzer Confesses to Infidelity in Prostitution Allegations

Well, here we go again, another male politician gets caught literally with his pants down..,-and can anyone say, how low can you go.

And not only that, Governor Spitzer also has been linked to a prostitution ring, the very laws that he fought to uphold as a representative of his state. How ironic that his most sincere efforts have come back to haunt him and his family, and yes his political career in New York may come to a screeching halt. Governor Eliot Spitzer fought and prosecuted many prostitution rings, and also took on many crime bosses-in a state that is known for Good-fellows and Masseuse steam baths disguised none-other as upper-class massage parlors. Any New Yorker is well aware that upper-class prostitution exists, and there are many affluent men that have indulged their appetite in this very profitable business.

Prostitution rings have been a staple of the New York community for many years, like it or not-it is a simple reality and disparity of the Big Apple. Prostitution has also been a very profitable extra income for those I fair not mention. Governor Eliot Spitzer is a by-product of a man walking with power, but not able to follow his own ethics and values.

Governor Spitzer has admitted up to his wrong doing, and yes he is guilty of immoral behavior, the problem is-he created too many enemies on his rise to the top.

Beware of the friends and foes you step upon on your rise to the top-it just may come back to haunt you one day. Every politician should know this and know that they are not above the law, especially when it comes to affairs that are outside of a political marriage.

Why are so many of the so called Mr. clean politicians surprised or stunned about his secret and other life, he is a man and he is fallible to make mistakes. When you are in the eye of the public-you are under close scrutiny, and everything you do is under the microscope when dealing with public affairs. It is not unfortunate that his secret life has been unveiled, it is more-so a disgrace as whom we deem worthy as our leaders, these are the people whom we give our trust and hard earned money to support our livelihood.

The hypocrisy of politicians living by way of immoral behavior-has a profound effect on our society and long term values. The unfortunate tale of the tape is that-power often times leads to an individual feeling immune to reckless behavior-ultimately this was Governors Eliot Spitzer downfall.
