When I purchase a food product that has a deceptive claim just to make you purchase the item, I want to send it back to the kitchen slamming the item and demanding my money 'in triplicate' back.
Often, when shopping, you see claims of 'restaurant quality' in bold letters on a few items in the grocer's freezer. Moreover, if you are like me, you are somewhat of a skeptic and feel there is no way this is the case. Especially when you see the price of the item. However, we all want to give the product an opportunity to live up to its claim. So in hopes of a satisfying meal, you buy the item.
You take it home, prepare it and then find yourself totally disappointed. Basically you often wonder which restaurant the product manufacturer is using for comparison. I definitely would not patronize some of these comparison sites after tasting the food item.
Yet, every once in a while, you find something that really lives up to its claim. For example, recently I was enticed into purchasing an item because of the name "New York" on the box. I generally love this brand of bread products like their Original Texas Toast in Garlic, Cheese and Cheddar Cheese varieties. So, I felt this one would be just as good as the rest. In other words, I trust this brand to live up to its claim. When preparing spaghetti, chilli mac or similar meals, I make sure I also have a box of Texas Toast on hand. I find this bread exceptional when served with Italian dishes. And then, a major draw on this new product was a coupon for $2.00 off.
$2 off is unheard of for food products. So I quickly picked up the box and a few other items for my meal. Even when I am not on a budget, I am very aware of savings. The $2 coupon was the first thing that made me want to grab the product; second was the name.
Have you ever had Papa John Cheese Sticks? If so, imagine those and you have an idea of the taste and consistency of the New York Pizzeria Dip 'N Sticks. This brand of cheese sticks is delicious and definitely lives up to its claim. The cheese sticks are buttery, cheesy, crunchy outside and just very and completely satisfying.
For the price, I was completely satisfied with this brand. The only problem with the purchase was the fact that had I known how good they were going to be, I would have picked up two boxes instead of one. Included in this box of '9' Garlic and Parmesan Bread Sticks is a serving of authentic Marinara Pizza Sauce.
The price was $2.75, but with the $2 off coupon, I paid only $.75. A serving of Papa John Cheese Sticks cost around $6 to $10 depending on their special advertised at the time of purchase.
My son purchases at least one pizza weekly. He loves a good bread and was so pleased with these bread sticks, he slurped down most of them before the other boys even knew they were on the menu. He then gave them a 'thumbs up'. For him, that means they are a winner.
Try the New York Pizzeria brand of Texas toasts and breads. You can see their different products atNew York Breads. Make sure to keep your product frozen in the freezer until you are ready to prepare it.

It was brown and crisp on the outside but it didn't get overcooked either. Each piece was a decent size, too.

Wow, 75 cents was an awesome price to pay, but the normal price doesn't seem too unreasonable. Thanks for the review!
I've never heard of this product. Terrific review.
Great review...and Happy Belated Birthday Malina!!!
Nothing like coupons to try that stuff.
Sounds good. I didn't like pizza or pizza products in my younger days, but I eat it once a week now.
