First we have the Cornelia Street Cafe located at 29 Cornelia Street which has a a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner for the price of $50.00 per person. The Thanksgiving menu consist of appetizers which include, butternut squash soup, Maine crab cake, warm goat cheese salad, and wild mushroom soup. Main course for Thanksgiving dinner includes, roast breast of turkey with hazelnut stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, baked sweet potato, haricots verts, and cranberry orange sauce. For those who do not want the traditional Thanksgiving dinner, they also have, corn and spinach risotta (with shaved Manchego cheese and white truffle oil), maple glazed Atlantic salmon (with wild Jasmine rice, vegetables Japonais, and pecan shallot butter), and rosemary crusted rack of lamb (with parsley mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus with a port wine reduction and mint jelly. Then we have the delicious desserts which include the one and only classic pumpkin pie, dark chocolate creme brulee, apple crisp, and for those who want to eat lite, gelato or sorbet. Keens Steakhouse, located at 72 West 36th Street is offering a spectacular Thanksgiving Day buffet for the price of $86 per adult and $43 for children under the age of 12. Thanksgiving day menu includes Foie Gras, shrimp cocktail, roasted beets and green beans, baked oysters with crabmeat, warm goat cheese and mushroom crepes, pumpkin soup, and a ceasar salad. Main courses include, turkey with the traditional dressing, prime rib, 2lb. butter poached main lobster, mutton chop, and smoked prime filet mignon. Side orders offered are glazed carrots and onions, smashed candied yams, yukon gold mashed potatoes, string beans,and brussel sprouts with bacon. Once finished with your amazing Keens Steakhouse Thanksgiving dinner, your choice of dessert ranges from pumpkin pie to ice cream. Tavern on the Green is one of New York's most exclusive, amazing restaurants that is located at Central Park at West 67th Street and will be offering Thanksgiving dinner to all those who make reservations now. Thanksgiving to Tavern on the Green starts the tedious work of 35" elves who work through the next six weeks getting the winter holiday decorations in place. Thanksgiving dinner will include many delicious meals including Feuiletee of Wild Mushrooms as well as the traditional roasted young turkey and many delicious desserts. The menu has not been completely finished, however I can tell you that anything that is eaten at the Tavern on the Green will be unbelievable. 212 Restaurant and Bar, located at 133 East 65th Street, will be offering a delectable, delicious Thanksgiving dinner that will be $45.00 per person. The delicious menu includes, truffle scented butternut squash, pumpkin and ricotta ravioli, mascarpone and brown butter, mushroom and chestnut pizzetta, free ranging roasted turkey, sausage stuffing and caramelized sweet potato, with many other mouth watering sides. Maybe I'll be in New York for Thanksgiving....Doubtful, but good information. There is a movie about a family that tried to find dining in New York on Thanksgiving...what a shame they didn't have this article.
