New York Yankees MySpace Layouts

The New York Yankees, without rhyme or reason, can be considered "America's Team". Is it the legacy left by Yogi Berra, Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Roger Maris and so many others?

Among my friends, many born and raised in Central Ohio along the base of a triangle encompassing three MLB teams - Cleveland, Cincinnati and Pittsburg - the majority are Yankee fans. This small unscientific survey leads me to believe that there are more fans for the New York Yankees than any other Major League Baseball team.

The 2009 season is rapidly approaching and what better way for a New York Yankees fan to pay tribute to their favorite team than to choose a MySpace layout honoring that team.

There are a wide variety of MySpace layout sites to choose from and many offer New York Yankees layouts, graphics and comments.

Pimp My Profile offers the best search feature of any of the MySpace layout sites I've tried. I chose "sports" from the main menu and then typed "New York Yankees" into the search bar. Pimp My Profile offers six different MySpace layouts for the Yankees fan.

The largest assortment of New York Yankees MySpace Layouts was found at all4myspace, with a selection of 14. My favorite Yankees layout features a mix of old and newer Yankee logos.

My favorite MySpace layout site is My Space or Yours. This site sadly only offers one New York Yankees layout, a black and white tribute to Babe Ruth.

Adding a layout to your MySpace page is simple and works the same way with most layout and graphics sites. Select your favorite layout design, copy the code and then paste it into your profile.

There are also a wide variety of comments and graphics for the New York Yankees fan to add to their messages on MySpace. PYZAM offers a flashing old-style red, white and blue Yankee logo. imyspacegraphics offers a large selection of graphics to be added to comments or different sections of any profile on MySpace, including former and more recent players.

As with any free sites, beware of excessive pop-up ads when searching for MySpace layouts. A search of "New York Yankees MySpace layouts" will turn up dozens of layout sites.
