A Major League Baseball (MLB) team based in The Bronx, New York City, New York, the New York Yankees were established as the Indianapolis franchise of the Western League, originally a farm team of the Cincinnati Reds. Special ticket plans

The New York Yankees are now offering a variety of ticket specials for selected games for the 2006 season. You can buy these in advance or on the day of the game. If you want to avail of discounts, please make a request prior to sale. For all Tuesday games, all $20.00 Tier-Reserved tickets will be discounted to $16 excluding all premium games. The same offer applies to selected Monday-Thursday night games in April, May and September. Family nights plan offers all Tier Reserved seats for $ 16 for designated Tuesday - Thursday night games in April, May, and September.

Student and youth games

If you are a student, present your high school or college ID card when buying tickets for any Wednesday game and get a Tier Reserved ticket for half-price. It must be bought only on the day of game.

If you are 14 or under, you can purchase half-price tickets in the Main Reserved, Tier Box, Tier Reserved and Bleachers for all Saturday games. (not premium games) only on the day of game, when accompanied by an adult.

Kids measuring less than thirty inches, who can walk freely under the turnstile or are carried into the stadium, do not need a ticket to enter the arena. They must sit on an adult's lap during the game so that the view of any other guests is not obstructed.

Military personnel games

You have to present your active military ID to get one complimentary Tier Reserved seat for any Monday -Thursday game only on the day of game.

Senior citizen specials

For some selected games, the Yankees offer senior citizen (60 and plus) tickets priced at $5.00. These tickets are sold at Yankee Stadium two hours prior to game time only. Accommodation for senior citizens is limited to 4,000 admissions per senior citizen date.

$5.00 dates

On selected games, all Tier Box, Tier Reserved and Bleacher seats will be $5.00. Tickets may be purchased in advance or on the day of game.

Value pack games

The New York Yankees and Coca-Cola value pack comprises four Tier Reserved tickets, four food vouchers, (valid for one hot dog and one Coca-Cola product) and one voucher good for one New York Yankees Yearbook for only $80.00.

Wheelchair ticket policy

For seats in areas designated for wheelchair patrons, the ticket holder's ticket and one companion ticket will be priced in accordance with the Wheelchair Accessible and Companion Seating schedule and all additional companion tickets (not more than two) will have regular price.

Non-alcohol seating

You can buy non-alcohol consumption seating in Tier Reserved, Section 13 & 14 and within the Bleacher Section. You need to specify your requirement prior to purchase.

Group amenities

If you just buy 20 or more tickets to a game, you get group discounts off the game day ticket price for selected Monday - Friday Night games, two bonus tickets for every 20 paid tickets purchased for any one game order, and guaranteed seating together and more.

These amenities do not apply to all premium games and all other discount games. The Adidas group nights offer still holds, where groups of 40 or more have the opportunity to purchase, at half-price, Tier Reserved seating to selected Wednesday and Friday night games.

Gift certificates

Bomber Bucks or Yankees Gift Certificates are available in any denomination and redeemed for the purchasing of tickets to any regular season home game individual game ticket, or a Yankee Stadium Tour. However, these are not permitted to be used for season or group tickets.

Ticket licensees

If you purchase a season ticket license plan (not for Bleachers seating), you will be entitled to membership to any of the following clubs: Yankee Club, Sony Stadium Club, and Dewar's 12 Pinstripe Pub. Each having different dress codes, these clubs offer delicious food and drinks.

The New York Yankees are now taking reservations for birthday parties, bachelor parties, weddings, Christenings, corporate meetings/outings and all special events also.
