All example photos use Caron Simply Soft No Dye Lot yarn. This pattern is sized to fit a typical newborn, but it can be made smaller by using a G hook or baby weight yarn (Caron yarn is considered medium-weight). To make it larger, try using thicker yarn like worsted weight or a chunky yarn.

Hi, I'm looking for a pattern for a hat for a baby from newborn to 6 months. It needs to be done in single crochet so it is a very tight weave. I'm looking for nothing fancy, just a basic plain little beannie. If you could email me a pattern I would really appreciate it. My email address is SherryWolfe@dogpeoplerule.com
Thanks so much
God Bless
Sherry
I love this hat, I just finished it and it is so cute! I would love to have the pattern for the tie front sweater, can you post it please? Thanks! Chelsie
