Newly Retired Neopets Items: Even More Items Hit the Chopping Block

Miss Fortune
Unless you scour your Safety Deposit Box on a regular basis you might miss out on when items are retired at Neopets. Some of the outside sites do a great job of updating the status of things but others can take up to a week or more to show that something has indeed been retired. My SDB is massively out of control. My hoarding is getting worse but at least it isn't costing me anything and the only clutter is cyber-related. Even so, having over 350K items (close to 10K unique items) it can be hard to find newly retired Neopet items. Sometimes things are announces in the News section, other times you stumble upon them by chance or dumb luck. Here are some of the newest retired items; some of them have been retired for about a month but others have just retired over the past few days.

Gifts: "Happy Birthday Card", "Chocolates", "Neocheckers Board Game", "Flowers", 'Wrapping Supplies", "Shirt", "Learn-to-paint Set", "Pocket Calendar", "Neo Baseball Cap", "Stunning Silver Ring", "Beautiful Golden Ring", "Merry Christmas Card", "Nimmo Relaxing Sticker", "No Babaa Eating Area Sign". Some of the items on this part of the list were huge money makers at the Faerieland Employment Agency; it is a shame that some of them were retired.

Toys: "Blue Yarn Ball", "Red Yarn Ball", "Abacus", "Click Klacks", "Yoyo", "Red Toy Car", "Blue Toy Car", "Basketball", "Scratching Post", "Colouring Book", "Deck of Cards", "Diary", "Neoblocks", "Cheery Blossom", "Tent". I don't think many people paid attention to these items when they were active but now the prices on them are creeping upwards on a weekly basis. Toys listed above that can be 'broken' also have those versions listed as retired.

School: "Earth Faerie Pen", "Dark Faerie Pencil", "Green Lined Notebook", "Red Notebook", "Fire Faerie Eraser". While it will take a while for some of these to reach the reselling price of the "Water Faerie Eraser" most of them are still cheap enough to hoard en mass to resell when the stock starts to thin out.

Petpets: "Bloopy", "Flightning Bug", "Uniocto"

Food: "Tigersquash Corn Dog", "Chilli Hot Dog" I find it odd that the Tigersquash would go retired; it was a super popular item and something that was often requested at the Faerieland Employment Agency.

Smoothies: "Large Salmon Sherbert Smoothie", "Large Melman Smoothie", "Large Super Lemon Grape Smoothie", "Large Lemon Blitz Smoothie", "Large Original Kiwi Smoothie", "Small Ice Creamy Jelly Smoothie", 'Small Original Kiwi Smoothie", "Small Lemon Blitz Smoothie", "Small Melman Smoothie", "Small Rasmelon Smoothie", "Small Salmon Sherbert Smoothie", "Small Splime Smoothie" When I saw these go retired I started buying them before people realized it. If Smoothies get retired its only a matter of time before Slushies get thinned out too.

CollectableCards: "Fire Breathing Meerca", "Hagar Mountbane", "Tyrannian Wocky", "The Lava Ghoul", "Sticks and Stones". Price on some of the other cards have gone up - especially the super cheap ones. People are hoping that they too will retire so they are stocking up on them now.

Neohome: "Blue Pillow", "Beach Chair", "Functional Grey Chair", "Funky Yellow Drawer", "Small Table Lamp", "Tall Table Lamp", "Round Table Lamp", "Elegant Table Lamp"

Neogarden: "Atrabud", "Plantmelon", "Budseed", "Chick-a-Daisy", "Sponderolas"

Keyrings: "Green Aisha Keyring", "Green Blumaroo Keyring", "Red Aisha Keyring", "Red Blumaroo Keyring", "Yellow Aisha Keyring", "Yellow Blumaroo Keyring", "Blue Tuskaninny Keyring", "Blue Usul Keyring", "Angry Blue Usul Keyring", "Green Kiko Keyring", "Green Koi Keyring", "Green Korbat Keyring", "Red Kiko Keyring"
