Advertisers Flunk Glenn Beck

Calling President Obama a racist was a dumb move for Glenn Beck. Making such an outrageous statement, angered companies that advertised on his show and rightfully so. Perhaps those political commentators who live for stirring up raw emotions and aggravating the public rather than informing and respectfully offering commentary will take notes. Respect needs to be the foundation of all our interactions with others...always.

Google Outs Meanie Blogger

I'm going to have to side with Google. If blogger, Rosemary Port had the audacity to be so brash, offensive and defamatory, she ought to be called out. When did being cruel and degrading of other humans (famous or not) become something to be defended. There are always boundaries. Hopefully, this model gets her justice. Opinions are great, but let's be classy!

Miss Universe 2009

Evidently, Miss Universe is buying what Venezuela is selling. For the sixth time, Miss Venezuela took the Miss Universe tiara. Congratulations go out to the beautiful Stefania Fernandez, this year's Miss Universe.

Super-Rich Get...Less Rich

I feel little sympathy for the super rich, even in the midst of recent news that the elite, upper class group may not see the same kind of cash they once saw two or more years ago. The trend today seems to be leveling the playing field. Well, sort of. Okay, not really. The super rich possess so much more than the lower and middle classes that it is virtually impossible to speak seriously about economic equality. Let's just leave it at this: The super rich have seen significant losses and may not recover any time soon. Where does this leave the rest of us? I haven't a clue.

Obama Investigates Bush Administration Interrogations

Interrogation practices under former President Bush's administration have been under fire for some time now. Currently, President Obama is investigating allegedly inhumane practices by the CIA during interrogations. Intending to unify and press forward, President Obama has been clear about his mission to move the country forward. Part of his plan includes utilizing other, non-CIA agencies.

Jackson's Death Ruled Homicide

Speculation that Michael Jackson's death was attributed to the poor choices of his medical doctor, have been validated by information that the coroner recently released. Allegedly, Jackson's physician, Conrad Murray was responsible for prescribing a dangerous mixture of medications that ultimately led to his death. The fact that Jackson's death was ruled a homicide does not mean that Murray committed a crime. Because there was no malice or intent to cause death, it is reasonable to assume that manslaughter charges are in Murray's future.

Great way to present the news, makes it easier to get through :) I'm not all that concerned about those who are "less rich" either, lol.

I really enjoy reading the news this way. I don't have time for it otherwise. Nice job! The beginning of a series, maybe?
