News from Hollywood: What's with Randy Quaid Being Arrested -- ..Again

Pat Bartels
The last movie I saw Randy Quaid in was, LBJ: The Early Years, and he did a great job. In fact, he won a Golden Globe award for his performance. Randy Quaid has been in many movies. I never really knew before that he was in financial trouble.

He and his wife Evi were arrested for felony residential burglary and entering a noncommercial building without consent. You'd have to be down and out to be living in a residence that belonged to someone else. Apparently the Quaids used to own the home, and the present owner found them living in the quest house of the property.

This is not the only time that Randy Quaid and his wife have been in trouble with the law. Last year they were arrested for conspiracy and burglary. They tried to use an invalid credit card at a couple of hotels in California. So I guess that's what you do if you don't have money. You go cheat and steal for what you want.

When the times are good you spend it all and don't worry about tomorrow. You know it's just bad luck if you run out of money. This is an actor who, when I see one of his movies on TV, I'm going to change the channel. There is no excuse for this kind of repeat behavior. I don't care if you're a sports figure, an actor, or just a regular person. You don't go out and do something illegal, and cheat other people.

I actually have a list of actors that I will no longer watch. Here's the top five on my list of actors I no longer care to see:

Jane Fonda - for her traitorous behavior during the Vietnam War.

Rosie O'Donnell - for her idiotic belief that the American Government was responsible for the 9/11 attack on the United States.

Janeane Garofalo - I just can't stomach her political views and stupid remarks, and she's and atheist.

Bill Maher - Because he's an atheist, and the things that come out of his mouth disgust me.

I'm now adding Randy Quaid to that list. You might be able to overlook his actions if it happened once. Since he continues to cheat his way in life, he makes my list. Whenever I see one of the above mentioned celebrities on television or in a movie I turn them off. It makes me feel a little better.

There is no room in my life for ungodly cheats and liars. That's just the way I feel. They have a right to believe what they want, but I don't have to listen to them or support them in any way.

It seems like stars are often more popular for their trouble than their body of work. Good job on this one!
