Sex In Space? "Nyet!" Say The Russians.

Well I guess the question had to be asked sooner or later, and what better time than 50 years after the first manned space flight.

So, have any Russian Cosmonauts had sex in space? Has anyone actually had sex in space?

The official answer as you might expect is "NO", however there have apparently been rumors of both Russian as well as American experiments to determine the effects of weightlessness when having sex in space.

Just thinking about it, well it just doesn't seem right does it. Certainly having sex while wearing a space suit is probably next to impossible, especially for a couple.

Then you come to the cost of adding copies of Playboy to the Shuttle payload. Every pound in weight must cost a fortune in fuel for a start. I suppose they could always beam up internet porn though for free.

But sex is as much a mental thing as it is a physical thing, and I can't see that indulging in such an activity purely as an experiment, while weightless as well can be classed as anything but "work".

At this point I am going to call a halt though, but you might want to bookmark this as I can feel a full article coming on about the joys (or not) of sex in space.

Tony Blair And Gordon Brown Not Invited To The Royal Wedding

The excuses are being made, including the fact that the wedding is to be held in Westminster Abbey, which is a good bit smaller than St. Paul's Cathedral, where Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer got married, however the fact remains that former Prime Ministers Tony Blair and Gordon Brown have not been invited to the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton on 29th April.

10 Downing Street has said that they must have overlooked this, and other living former Prime Ministers Baroness Thatcher and Sir John Major have been invited, so could this be a snub of the Labour Party leaders who caused Great Britain to go into such a deep economic slide?

To make matters worse, guess who does have an invitation to the wedding?

It's Kate's controversial uncle, Gary Goldsmith, who is truly the black sheep of the family, and has been in the news as a cocaine user who was shunned by Kate's mother, and who is covered in tattoos.

If nothing else, it has given the media something to gossip about.

Sadly though, it looks like Margaret Thatcher is unlikely to be attending the big event, due to poor health.

The Royal Wedding Party Is A Great Knit

There has been so much hype about the Royal Wedding lately, but a £9.99 ($15) paperback book called " Knit Your Own Royal Wedding " by Fiona Goble has put a different perspective on this event and has inspired thousands of knitters to make their own Royal Wedding Party out of yarn.

The book contains some wonderful pictures of the Royal Family, all knitted from the patterns that are in the book, and each one is easily recognizable, including Her Majesty the Queen with a her distinctive hair style and hat.

The party even includes one of the Queen's Corgi's, and you can see just how wonderful they all look in a splendid animated video HERE on You Tube. It's really cute.

Big Brother Is Watching You And Your Tattoos

Here is a warning to all the crooks who have distinctive tattoos. Commit a crime, and Big Brother could use these to help identify and arrest you.

A habitual thief from Homestead in Florida found this out too late last week, after he stole an iPhone that was running an App called "MobileMe", which allows the owner of the phone to see a map of exactly where the phone is.

Using this information, police were led to a house that belonged to the thief's mother, and there in his bedroom was the phone, sending out it's tracking signal.

That allowed the police to track down the person who had stolen the phone of course, but when they arrested him, his tattoos corresponded with those of the person who was caught on surveillance cameras during previous thefts.

As a result, the police were able to charge him with no less than 19 out of 35 thefts that had taken place recently in the Upper Keys.

Well that's good news for the general public, not so good news for criminals though.

Robbery By Remote Control Didn't Pay Off

Here is another case of a robber who came away with nothing but a criminal record last week after trying to rob a convenience store.

The man walked into the store in St. Petersburg, Florida, with a Sony Playstation Remote Controller in his pocket, pretending that it was a gun.

It wasn't his lucky day however, as a police officer walked into the store while he was attempting to rob it.

The robber dropped his remote and surrendered. One more crook off the streets.
