Underwear Sniffing Landlord Taken To Cleaners
A California landlord has been taken to court by two of his female tenants after he was found to have entered their apartment while they were out.
It's not just the fact that he entered their apartment that they are complaining about, it's the fact that he opened the dresser drawer in their bedroom, removed their underwear and sniffed it.
I am just left curious as to how they knew all of this happened, since although they might have detected that their underwear had been moved, there is no way that they could tell that it had been sniffed, unless of course they had a security camera mounted in the bedroom.
Now I have to wonder why they would have a secret video camera running in the bedroom, unless of course it's happened before and they wanted to catch the perpetrator in the act.

Idaho Tiger Habitat Given The Go Ahead But Tigers Not Allowed To Breed
Peter Renzo and the SABRE Foundation were successful in his bid to obtain a permit for a 50 acre tiger habitat in Idaho, which included a 60 room hotel, a restaurant and a veterinary facility, but unfortunately they were denied a procreation permit, which is normally only allowed for zoos.
This means that the only way that Peter can bring Siberian Tigers into the habitat is to have them neutered first, which rather defeats the object of the mission.
Unfortunately the Judge from the Idaho Supreme Court affirmed the decision, since the claim against the initial ruling was not filed until two weeks beyond the time limit under Idaho law.
The SABRE Foundation , which stands for Siberians Are Becoming Rapidly Extinct, has a mission to protect and preserve the rare Siberian Tiger.

The Pub Made Famous In Crocodile Dundee Is For Sale
One of the best known pubs in Queensland in Australia is up for sale.
The Walkabout Creek Hotel at McKinlay in western Queensland was built in 1900, and was featured in Paul Hogan's hit movie Crocodile Dundee as his local watering hole.
The owner says that it has become a big tourist attraction because of the movie, but he is ready for something new.

Chinese On The Trail Of The Bigfoot
An expedition is being mounted by a group of Chinese scientists to search for their country's version of the Bigfoot, known as the "Yeren" or "wild man", and they are looking for international funding for the expedition.
The Yeren has been sighted by more than 400 people over the years, and is thought to be half man and half ape.
The sightings have taken place in a remote and mountainous part of China, in the province of Hubei according to the state news agency.
Earlier expeditions in the 1970's and 1980's to try and find the Yeren, found hair, a footprint and excrement, as well as what looked like a sleeping nest, but the creature remained elusive.
The Yeren is supposed to be over 2 metres in height, and with grey, red or black hair all over it's body.
This is not the only strange creature thought to exist in this part of the world, with the Abominable Snowman or Yeti in Tibet, and a mysterious Loch Ness type creature sighted in remote lakes.
It would be really interesting if this expedition is successful, but if not, I wonder if Chinese television viewers will end up subjected to a local version of Harry And The Henderson's (I loved that show by the way).

Older Than 52? Then You Must Be Grumpy
A survey of 2,000 people in the UK has found out that the age of 52 is when people start to become grumpy.
The survey found that people over 50 tended to laugh less than those who were under 50, and also complained a lot more.
Apparently infants laugh up to 300 times a day, but by the time people get to be teenagers the number of laughs drops dramatically to only SIX a day!
Even worse, by the time people reach 60, they were found to only laugh 2 ½ times a day, with men being grumpier than women.
One theory for the absence of laughter as we get older is the lack of joke telling skills, with the average person only knowing two jokes.
Not a good prospect is it for someone who is now closer to 60 than 50. It's probably a good thing that I run a Humor web site, otherwise I might end up really grumpy.

Teen Drives At 100mph With Kids In The Car
A 19 year old was arrested in Florida for driving at over 100mph with three other minors in the car with him.
None of the minors was wearing a seatbelt either, and the 1994 Honda was also missing lug nuts on both the front wheels, one of the rear rims was cracked, and parts of the car were held together by vice grips.
When he was asked why he was going so fast, the driver said that he was having trouble changing gear because his car is falling apart. The deputy said that the car smelled of burnt oil, brakes and tires once it had stopped.

Thirteen Year Old Girl Poisoned Her Mother With Bug Spray
When an Orlando, Florida woman just kept getting more sick over the course of a year, blood tests showed that she had traces of arsenic in her blood.
Her 13 year old adopted daughter confessed to spraying bug killer on her food, from early 2009 until April 2010. she also confessed to putting insecticide in the woman's food and soap in her drinking water.
Detectives are investigating whether the girl had also poisoned two of her siblings, but the results of the investigations have not yet been released.
The mother did not want to press charges, because of the girl's age and because she may have mental problems, but she was arrested last week anyhow on charges of poisoning food and water, and the case is being processed through the juvenile courts.
