Newspapers Openly Inciting Assassination of the President Should Cease Publication

The anti-Obama cartoon in question reflects the attitude of the management and editorial board of the publication.

And it is not an expression of the freedom to express.

No way, there is a parallel between the stimulus plan and the animal depicted.

Any attempt by anybody to impose such justification on the nation is pure arrogance.

Put bluntly, it is an open incitement to assassinate the President of this nation and that is not acceptable.

The publisher of this newspaper while being granted the citizenship of this country should have signed an oath whereby he specifically agreed not to indulge in activities that is detrimental to the safety of the rulers and the people of this country.

Since he has violated that oath, his citizenship should be rescinded and he should be deported to the nation he came from.

Though I have always felt Rev. Al Sharpton is a bit overboard most the times, I think he is justified this time in calling a total boycott of that particular business.

Not just because of Obama's race, but the picture is an open invitation to assassinate the President of this nation.

Just because an immigrant comes from a majority Caucasian country or he is a wealthy investor, it does not mean he or his paid minion is given an open, unrestricted license to kill the President of this country or get him killed by somebody else and thus usurp the constitution of this country.

I had always this nagging feeling that surrendering iconic American institutions to foreign rogue investors would finally land us in these kinds of unruly, traitorous situations.

Treason is treason whatever be the color of the skin of the perpetrator and his accomplice - be it white, black or brown! And they should not be spared under any circumstances.

Condoning them on the basis of freedom of expression or education or profession or wealth or race will only come back to haunt us later.

At any rate, what is difference between these perpetrators and Osama bin Laden and his minions? These people are picturing graphically what is being openly advocated by Al Qeida and Taliban - to assassinate the President of this country.

The cartoonist has even made it appear a very easy job, as if the Head of State of USA is a hapless victim who can be openly hunted down. That is an open invitation to murder and an act of terrorism! Since security personnel have been pictured as the hunters, it is an open incitement to rebellion by interested citizens in uniforms.

Zero tolerance applies equally to internal as well as external terrorists. They should not be allowed to seek refuge under any of the provisions of the constitution of USA.
