The 2010 season has had some amazing efforts: a near 500-yard passing game (497 yards) by Matt Schaub of Houston, a 225-yard receiving effort by Kenny Britt of Tennessee, and a 231-yard rushing game by Arian Foster of Houston. There have been nine 400-yard passing games this year and three 200-yard receiving games. Here are the best performances rushing, passing, and receiving by NFL players this year.

Week 1
Arian Foster of Houston: 33 rushes for 231 yards
Austin Collie of Indianapolis: 11 catches for 161 yards

Week 2
Darren McFadden of Oakland: 30 rushes for 145 yards
Andre Johnson of Houston: 12 catches for158 yards

Week 3
Adrian Peterson of Minnesota: 23 rushes for 160 yards
Austin Collie of Indianapolis: 12 catches for 171 yards

Week 4
Arian Foster of Houston: 17 rushes 133 yards
Terrell Owens of Cincinnati: 10 catches for 222 yards

Week 5
Matt Forte of Chicago: 22 rushes for 166 yards
Malcolm Floyd of San Diego: 8 catches for 213 yards

Week 6
Chris Ivory of New Orleans: 15 rushes for 158 yards
Jeremy Maclin of Philadelphia: 7 catches for 159 yards

Week 8
Jamaal Charles of Kansas City: 22 rushes for 177 yards
Brandon Lloyd of Denver: 7 catches for 164 yards

Week 9
Peyton Hillis of Cleveland: 29 rushes for 184 yards
Jacoby Ford of Oakland: 6 catches for 148 yards

Week 10
Fred Jackson of Buffalo: 25 rushes 133 yards
Dwayne Bowe of Kansas City: 13 catches for 186 yards

Week 11
Maurice Jones-Drew of Jacksonville: 23 rushes for 133 yards
Greg Jennings of Green Bay: 7 catches for 152 yards

There have been nine 400-yard passing games this year. They are Peyton Manning in week 1, Matt Schaub and Donovan NcNabb in week 2, Kyle Orton in week 3, Philip Rivers and Tony Romo in week 5, Carson Palmer in week 7, Brett Favre in week 8, and Matt Cassel in week 10.

    These were the leaders by yardage gained in each of the NFL's first eleven weeks in rushing and receiving. Vick's effort might be the best overall effort of the year to date though.

    Good enough, I guess, but if Michael Vick's game against Washington isn't there, there may be something wrong with the set-up. Four throwing TD's (the first on the first play of the game for 88 yards), two rushing TD's, and 59 points...???
