NFL 2010 Week 14 Television Schedule

New England @ Chicago & Kansas City @ San Diego Are Good Match Ups

Tommy Hayfield
There are a lot of good match ups in week 14 starting with Indianapolis versus Tennessee which has Tennessee needing to win to stay in playoff contention it would appear...in that match up Indianapolis needs to win to have a chance to win the division as they've fallen to 6-6 with the loss to Dallas this week.

The New York Giants play at Minnesota where the game might be Favre-less for the first time in forever though Brett Favre always seems to shake off limiting injuries (a shoulder injury) like he got early in Sunday's game against the Bills. The Vikings backup quarterback, a very mobile Tarvaris Jackson, could make the Vikes competitive against the high-flying Giants.

Oakland at Jacksonville looks to be an interesting game which of course depends on which Oakland dream-scape shows up: the one that has prepared and is ready to adjust to game situations or the other one that gets totally shut down...both these teams are similar with David Garrard of the Jags being a running quarterback like Jason Campbell (Oakland's quarterback.) It could prove high-scoring and exciting: watch and see.

Chicago entertains the Patriots in a team of opposites: the Bears are the stoppers while the Patriots are the never-stoppers. The Bears are 9-3 and are the surprise--at least to me-- of the entire league. A running game keeps Jay Cutler in an offensive scheme that he can manage since he's in his first year in Chicago...as the Bears develop more receiving threats the Bears are a rising star in the NFC.

Kansas City goes to San Diego where the Chargers just got embarrassed in Qualcomm Stadium by the road-Raiders who won as 13-point road-underdog winning by 15...Kansas City is a conundrum to figure for their fans as they are on-again and off-again though they continue to win. Can they score points on the road in San Diego?...they gave up 49 points in a November loss on the road to a weak Denver team.

Philadelphia visits Dallas where the Cowpokers just found their horses again in Indianapolis and are lassoing and corralling like Cowpokes do...this figures to be a high-scoring shootout with the Michael Vick show in town. Here's the match ups for week 14 which begins with a Thursday night game in Nashville.
