NFL 2010 Week 15 Television Schedule

Week 15: December 16 -20

Tommy Hayfield
The cold wind has hit us and we feel the familiar football venue breeze as we go out to buy evergreens and poinsettias...as we go to Target we feel the familiar approach of festivities which include holiday football. I see Redskins stickers in Richmond, Virginia where I go and believe it or not an occasional Cowboys sticker far from home...give him a hug because he's a road warrior. Neither the Redskins or the Cowboys will be playing much football in January so maybe the mutually desired destruction--the aimed guns-- will be holstered for the January playoff fun.

Here's the week 15 NFL schedule and there are some great games in this 5-day span of games the week before Christmas.

Week 15's Best Match Ups
Green Bay @ New England
The best games of the week include Green Bay and New England playing in Gillette Stadium on Sunday night the 19th of December. Both these teams could be in the Super Bowl and are very evenly matched

New York Jets @ Pittsburgh
The New York Jets go to Pittsburgh in a game that will help determine the seeding for the playoffs. the home standing Steelers will have an advantage in this game against the Sanchez-led Jets, but they're both capable teams.

Philadelphia @ the New York Giants
Philadelphia goes to the New Meadowlands Stadium to play the Giants in a game which could be a conference championship game by some prognostications...depending on the playoff seeding layout these teams could meet again in the playoffs at some point.

Jacksonville @ Indianapolis
Jacksonville plays Indianapolis in Lucas Oil Stadium to play the now--in early December--struggling Colts. Their explosive offense is always capable of outscoring even with a defense that occasionally can't stop opposing offenses.

There are other games which include teams hovering around .500 who can make a wild card spot in the playoffs with a late-season winning streak of three games...it would of course have to start in week 15. These are the last three regular season games beginning this week...it's put up or shut up time right now.
