The first game of week sixteen involving teams likely to be in the playoffs is the one between the Jets and the Bears...the game is in Chicago and the Bears have been very strong defensively at home. This figures to be a close and low-scoring game.
Tennessee faces Kansas City in Kansas City in a game that may or may not be significant to the Titans who need to begin winning in week fourteen for this game to have playoff implications for them...the Chiefs can win the AFC West division and need to win all they can to gain home field advantage which depends primarily on overall record.
Indianapolis visits Oakland...this game involves two teams on the verge of elimination prior to week fourteen's games so they need to begin winning this week for this game to be significant to either team.
The Giants visit Green Bay...the Packers have to keep winning as they trail Chicago by a game prior to week fourteen's games...the Giants also need to keep winning as they are in a battle with the Eagles for the NFC East lead.
New Orleans goes to Atlanta on Monday night in a game between two really strong teams who each could end up in the Super Bowl.
