Week 2: Cam Newton threw for 432 yards in Week 2 while Tom Brady threw for 423 yards. In Week 2 there 9 300-yard passing efforts.

Week 3: Matthew Stafford of Detroit had 378 yards...Tom Brady of New England had 387 yards....Mark Sanchez of the New York Jets, 369 yards...Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburgh Steelers threw for 364 yards. In Week 3 there were 11 300-yard passing games.
