Week 6 has thirteen games with six teams receiving byes this week...here is the Week 6 schedule with a look at the Week 5 results.

Week 5 Wrap Up
Week 5 was tumultuous with games ending dramatically: Carolina came close to pulling a big upset as I anticipated, but New Orleans scored with two minutes left to pull out a close one...the Giants amazingly lost on a 95-yard pick-6 as they were preparing to score the go-ahead td in the closing minutes. Indianapolis blew a 21-point lead and stayed winless by losing to Kansas City in the closing minutes. And in an unbelievable offensive explosion the 49ers put up a 48-spot on those Tampa Bay Bucs: how did the Bucs give up 48 points to the often-offensively-challenged 49ers? Pittsburgh surprised me by beating the Titans easily: Ben Roethlisberger threw for 5 tds in that one. Buffalo beat the overrated Eagles in a romp that only ended with a close score: Michael Vick threw four picks in that one. Tom Brady and the Pats won another home game as expected: this victim was the Jets. Denver came back late and covered against the Chargers who saw Denver quarterback Tim Tebow for the first time in this Week 5 game. Arizona came cross country to the Twin Cities and lost in a romp to the one-timer, the now 1-4 Vikings. Oakland put on a good road effort and beat the Texans despite a 400-yard passing effort by Matt Schaub: was Al in charge of the Raiders in this game in Houston? Cincinnati looks to be the better of the Ohio teams: the Bengals didn't bungle this one...they beat the also-rookie-led Jaguars 30-20. In the Sunday night game the Pack spotted Atlanta 14 and scored the last 25 points in a 25-14 win: Green Bay looks really good...in this one Aaron Rodgers completed passes to 12 receivers in a passing clinic.

*With one game left on the Week 5 schedule my record is 7-5 straight and 8-4 against the points: I'm hoping for a Detroit win and cover at Ford Field against the Bears tomorrow night. To check out my previous picks click my profile link at the end of this story.
