NFL Bet of the Week: Week 15

Ravens -4.5 over DOLPHINS

I didn't really believe that the Dolphins would go 16-0 but now it is tough to imagine them not going that way.

The Ravens look to make the Dolphins 0-14 on the season after Sunday and they certainly have a great chance to do that this weekend.

After getting blown out by the Colts on Sunday Night Football, the Ravens line in this game is much lower than it should be.

Don't forget that the Ravens had to face a far superior Colts team after a short week, right after playing the seemingly invincible New England Patriots. The Ravens are a much better team than they showed Sunday, but they were emotionally and physically drained after playing the Patriots (which is why I suggested a bet on the Colts last week).

The Ravens offense has certainly looked much better than they did to start the season and that is probably because Kyle Boller has played an adequate quarterback position and Willis McGahee has been a very good runningback.

What is there to say about the Dolphins? They look terrible and the grumblings coming out of their locker room suggest they have lost all will to even finish out the season and might not be willing to play if their paychecks wouldn't reflect their absences.

The Dolphins will fair much better against the Ravens if they start Cleo Lemon at quarterback, but that should make a difference in how badly they get beat, not make a difference in a cover or not.

The Dolphins might be motivated to not finish the season 16-0 and make history, but do you not think the Ravens, a highly emotional team, would not be motivated to make sure they were not the first team to lose to the 0-13 Dolphins?

The Ravens will cover this game.

Ravens - 20
Dolphins - 6

With the pick made it is time for me to remind you that these are merely the best plays on the board as I see them and they are not guaranteed winners, nothing is guaranteed. I hope you have fun with these NFL selections and good luck this weekend. All lines are gathered from BetUs.com and from Wagerline.com and were accurate at the time of this article being written. Keep in mind, line movement may occur.

Remember not to bet more than you can afford to lose and that wagering should be for fun only. If you have a gambling problem I urge you not to place a wager.
