Many sources claim that McFadden's biggest weakness is off the field. He has baby momma drama! He's expecting two children by to different women this summer. He has also been in scuffles and fights off the field. Teams will have to take this in consideration before they decide to draft him. Is this a risk they are willing to take?
As the NFL draft approaches, it is looking as if the Oakland Raiders or the New York Jets will select McFadden. I can see Darren's speed and raw talent on the field appealing to both teams because both could use it.
As of right now, there are 3 possible teams that will most likely recruit McFadden; the Atlanta Falcons, New York Jets, or the Oakland Raiders. I say this because his speed will be beneficial two these teams the most.
There is also the chance of Miami might sweep in and recruit McFadden. I seriously doubt it though. All I know is that McFadden better get is act together. Darren is the must watch player this year and because it is difficult to pick where he will go. He's a risk, but he is a good risk. He needs a team where he will mesh well with.
I don't know if this will actually happen though. At the end of the day, his best bet is the jets. E isn't number one anymore and the other teams ahead of the Jets have bigger needs that need to be taken care of.
