NFL Draft Prospectus: Will Tim Tebow Be a Successful NFL Quarterback?

Alfonso Coley
No sports analyst or NFL head coach has a crystal ball to predict if Tim Tebow will not be a successful NFL quarterback, nor can anyone predict if Tebow will be a bust in 2010. There has been a lot of talk around the sports nation that he may be taken in the first round of the NFL Draft, and there are other sports writers who say Tebow has no chance of being picked up in the first round. The most important question that surrounds Tim Tebow's personification as a NFL quarterback - is that most of his critics say that he does not have the mechanics to become a great NFL Quarterback.

Tim Tebow's collegiate playing days with the University of Florida were filled with exciting games as he was the only collegiate player to almost play two positions simultaneously. Tebow's exceptional playmaking abilities help lead his Florida Gators to win two consecutive national titles.

What may be more of a positive look at Tim Tebow is his firm Christian belief, and just like Barry Sanders Tebow may surprise many NFL worship goers as he may be a diamond in the ruff. What makes the NFL Draft Class exciting is that no one knows for sure what Quarterback will be a flop or success, but there is one thing for sure; Tebow has that something special that sets him apart from his other 2010 NFL Draft members.

Tim Tebow's love and the passion for the game are very reminiscent of the great Brett Favre, and his inspiration to be the best at his respective position. Maybe one day Tim Tebow will be mentioned in the same breath as the true iron man of the NFL which is embellished by the likes of Brett Favre.
