How Do You Go About Purchasing a NFL Jersey?
1. Consider whether the jersey you want to purchase is going to be replica, Premier, or authentic.

Premier jerseys are a step closer to authentic, as they have stitched on lettering and a heavier fabric. Which one of these do I recommend? I recommend purchasing the NFL Reebok Premier Jersey: these are of good quality and you don't pay much more than the replicas. If worn enough, the replicas will start to lose part of the screenprinting on the jersey (especially if you are rough and play tackle football in them, or wash them often).
The Premier jersey is probably the best deal for your money.
2. Consider the actual player you're getting.
First things first, you should really like the NFL player you decide to purchase. One thing to look out for is whether the player you are purchasing has signed some sort of long-term deal with the club. Since you will be paying a good amount of money for your jersey, you're going to want to be sure your player will actually be there when you wear it.
Rookie players tend to have "hot" jerseys, but I do not recommend purchasing the jersey of rookie, even if he is a top draft pick. Let the player establish himself in the league. Two years of solid play, if you're looking for a young player, should be enough to justify a purchase.
3. Understand that the purchase of jersey demonstrates team loyalty, and the price is justified.
