NFL Parlay of the Week: Week 15

The parlay of the week is very simple this week. No matter which way you choose to play the line in the Patriots/Jets game, you should parlay it with the Patriots/Jets over 51 bet. In fact, any other bet you make this weekend you can parlay with this bet.

It is probably not realistic for the Jets to be shutout in this game and if the Patriots cover the 24.5-point spread, than the Jets will only need to put up 10-20 points in order to cover the over of 51. The Patriots, if they cover this spread will probably end up with 35-40 points, leaving the Jets to get only 10-20 to cover. If you believe, like many, that this weekend's game between the Patriots and the Jets will be a blowout than the bet should be for the Patriots -24.5 and on the over 51.

On the flip side of this the game could be an unnecessarily close affair much like the Patriots games against the Eagles and the Ravens. If this is the case than the Jets would have to keep the Patriots under 30 points to have the possibility of keeping up with them, for they have no chance if they get into a shootout.

If the Jets do keep this game close than the total should still be over 51, since the Jets will have to score some on the Patriots to make this game even close. This game could have both teams in the high 20's if all plays well for the Jets.

Depending on which way you look at this game you should take one of the aforementioned parlays to cash in on some extra money for you bet this weekend.

Wordsleuth's advice:

Take the over and the Patriots -24.5, the Jets don't seem like they have a chance this weekend against a vengeful Patriots team with far superior talent.

Parlay of the Week:

Patriots -24.5
Patriots/Jets O51

Second:

Ravens -4.5
Jets/Patriots O51

With the pick made it is time for me to remind you that these are merely the best plays on the board as I see them and they are not guaranteed winners, nothing is guaranteed. I hope you have fun with these NFL selections and good luck this weekend. All lines are gathered from BetUs.com and from Wagerline.com and were accurate at the time of this article being written. Keep in mind, line movement may occur.

Remember not to bet more than you can afford to lose and that wagering should be for fun only. If you have a gambling problem I urge you not to place a wager.
