NFL Thursday Night Football Picks Against the Spread - Analysis for San Diego
San Diego comes into this Thursday Night Football game winners of 9 in a row with an overall record of 11-3. With 1 more regular season win, they will secure a first round by in the NFL playoffs. Phillip Rivers has the San Diego offense scorching hot.
NFL Thursday Night Football Picks Against the Spread - Analysis for Tennessee
Tennessee comes into this Thursday Night Football game almost as hot as the Chargers. Since starting out 0-6 this season, the Titans have gone 7-1 with the only loss coming against the Colts. The switch to Vince Young has made all the difference and has allowed stud running back Chris Johnson to be even more dangerous running and catching the football. The Titans have 2 new injuries to linebackers Keith Bullock and David Thornton, both out for the season. Miraculously, Tennessee still has a shot to make the playoffs.
NFL Thursday Night Football Picks Against the Spread - Head to Head Analysis
Chargers passing game - San Diego has shown the ability to pass the ball against any NFL team and Tennessee should be no exception. With Jackson, Gates, and company there are just too many weapons.
Titans passing game - Tennessee won't be looking to take too many shots down the field. Instead they will look to move the chains and keep the Chargers honest on defense.
Chargers running game - Tennessee has played much better on defense in the second half of the season. The losses of Thornton and Bullock are going to hurt. The Chargers should have some success running the football, especially since the Titans will have to focus on defending the pass.
Titans running game - Chris Johnson is the best running back in football and at any time he can take it all the way. Tennessee should be able to run the ball just fine as long as they have Johnson.
NFL Thursday Night Football Picks Against the Spread - Prediction
San Diego is a 3 point underdog against the spread but should win this game straight up. The loss of Keith Bullock shouldn't be overlooked. Chris Johnson might be unstoppable, but I still like the Chargers offense as a collective group better.
Pick: San Diego +3
