The 49ers head to Philadelphia after a hard fought battle on Monday night against the Cardinals. Monday night teams don't tend to do to well the next week when they head out on the road so the cards are stacked in Philadelphia's direction. Look for Philly to maintain their momentum as they look to move closer to winning the division. Look for the Eagles to rough up the 49ers 33-19.
2. Denver Broncos over the Oakland Raiders.
The Oakland Raiders have quarterback trouble now that Gradkowski is out. Oakland still doesn't know who is going to start at QB and that is a problem no matter who it is. Denver is coming off a tough loss against the undefeated Colts and look to enact a little revenge against the Raiders. Look for the Broncos to beat the Raiders 31-17.
3. Minnesota Vikings over the Carolina Panthers.
The Panthers are a very talented team but just can't get it together this season. John Fox's job is on the line and it looks as though they are getting ready for a new coach. Brett Favre is leading his team into the playoffs after coming back strong last week against the Bengals. Look for Brett Favre to take advantage of the weak Panthers Defense. I don't imagine the Panthers will be able to move the ball against the stout Minnesota D either. Vikings over the Panthers 28-20.
4. Baltimore Ravens over the Chicago Bears.
The Ravens looked good against the hapless Lions in week 14 and now look to take on the struggling Bears at home. Don't look for Jay Cutler to be able to do anything extraordinary against the decades best defense in Baltimore. Baltimore will show the home crowd they are ready to make one last attempt at getting into the playoffs this season and will beat the Bears 19-13.
5. Tennessee Titans over the Miami Dolphins.
Tennessee blew out the Rams and looked like a contender (even though they probably aren't). Don't look for the Titans to blow out the Dolphins this week bu they should win a pretty good game. The Dolphins look to improve on their season but probably won't be able to handle Vince Young and the surging Titans.
So far the record for the year our picks are correct 85% of the time in straight up picks.
