NFL Power Rankings: Philly Cheese Steaks or Soft Pretzels - Can Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback Donovan McNabb Lead His Team to Another Super Bowl?
More than anything else, Donovan McNabb wants to lead his team back to the Super Bowl, but he has hostile territory to go through before achieving that goal. Certainly, it depends on how well New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning plays, and if Tony Romo has a better December than he has had in previous seasons. Indeed Donovan McNabb cannot do it all alone. One of the most important and vital things that McNabb must do - is to be consistent when throwing passes downfield, this is where he has had trouble when receivers change their route in order to make a big play. Blown plays are what have haunted Donovan McNabb in several big games that should have been otherwise won.
The Philadelphia Eagles and Donovan McNabb must stay healthy if their Super Bowl hopes are to remain alive. Every Philly fan has grown tired of the Eagles yearly playoff run to the big dance - only to end in disaster. If Donovan McNabb wants to return his team to the Super Bowl he may have to play some of the best football of his career due to the competitive nature how other teams in their conference are playing.
