Two of the All-Time Great Franchises Moving Up the NFL Power Rankings

(UPDATED After Monday Night Game)

Week 9 of the NFL saw the two undefeated teams in New Orleans and Indianapolis remain undefeated despite tough games. Dallas pulled a big victory against Philadelphia. New England pulled one off against the Dolphins and Cincinnati proved they were for real with their victory over the Ravens. Pittsburgh dominated Denver with a great defensive effort. Here are my top 10 teams for the NFL Power Rankings for Week 10.

Top 10 Teams in NFL Power Rankings For Week 10

#10 Team for NFL Power Rankings Week 10:San Diego Chargers (5-3)

The San Diego Chargers pulled a big comeback victory out against the New York Giants. The Giants have been falling apart as of yet but this was a big win for the Chargers and earns them a spot in the top 10 for the NFL Power Rankings heading into week 10. San Diego has big game in week 10 hosting another NFC East team in Philadelphia
Week 10 Game: Philadelphia @ San Diego

#9 Team for NFL Power Rankings Week 10:Arizona Cardinals (5-3)

Arizona and Kurt Warner looked back in form with the spanking they put on Chicago in Week 9. There offense was clicking on all cylinders and did it without Anquan Boldin. Arizona improved to 5-3 and have a two game league in the NFC West. Look for Arizona to lock up this week division early.
Week 10 Game: Seattle @ Arizona

#8 Team for NFL Power Rankings Week 10: Denver Broncos (6-2)

After starting with six wins, Denver has dropped two in a row. They see how far they still have to come after there defeat to Pittsburgh on Monday night. The good news for Denver is that they have Washington next week.
Week 10 Game: Denver @ Washington

#7 Team for NFL Power Rankings Week 10: Cincinnati Bengals ( 6-2)

The Bengals proved that they were for real with a big victory over Baltimore. They are back to giving Pittsburgh at run for there money in the AFC North division. The main thing the Bengals have proved is they are not only about offense as their defense led the way in this big victory over the Ravens. Cincinnati has a tough match up in week 10 at Pittsburgh.
Week 10 Game: Cincinnati @ Pittsburgh

#6 Team for NFL Power Rankings Week 10: New England Patriots (6-2)

As much as I dislike the New England Patriots, I have to included them in this list for NFL Power Rankings heading into Week 10. They pulled off a decent victory against a Dolphins team that always seems to give them match up problems. Next Sunday night is the game of the year thus far with New England going to Indianapolis.
Week 10 Game: New England @ Indianapolis

#5 Team for NFL Power Rankings Week 10: Dallas Cowboys (6-2)

The Dallas Cowboys pulled off a huge victory on the road against a division opponent in Philadelphia. Tony Romo seem poised in this big game which was much different than when the Cowboys ended there 2008 campaign with a spanking by the Eagles.
Week 10 Game: Dallas @ Green Bay

#4 Team for NFL Power Rankings Week 10: Pittsburgh Steelers (6-2)

Pittsburgh defense came alive again on Monday night as they continue to get healthier and back to there 2008 form. Pittsburgh has a good division matchup next week with Cincinnati with the winner taking the division lead.
Week 10 Game: Cincinnati @ Pittsburgh

#3 Team for NFL Power Rankings Week 10: Minnesota Vikings (7-1)

Brett Farve and the Minnesota Vikings had a bye week in week 9 and should be well rested to play a bad Detroit team. Look for Farve and the Vikings to keep rolling as they are a serious threat to go the super bowl this season. Minnesota needs an Indianapolis loss for a chance to move up the NFL Power Rankings for week 11.
Week 10 Game: Detroit @ Minnesota

#2 Team for NFL Power Rankings Week 10:New Orleans Saints (8-0)

I keep waiting for New Orleans to lose and to slip them down in the NFL Power rankings but can't do that heading into week 10. There offense is unstoppable and there defense appears good enough at making big plays to make them difficult to beat. Look for them to go to 9-0 after playing St. Louis in week 10.
Week 10 Game: New Orleans Saints @ St. Louis

#1 Team for NFL Power Rankings Week 10: Indianapolis Colts (8-0)

The Colts survived against an improved Houston Texans team in Week 9 to hold there spot in the NFL Power Rankings heading into week 10. With Peyton Manning at the helms the Colts should continue to dominate. They will face there rivals in week 10 when New England comes to town.
Week 10 Game: New England @ Indianapolis

On the Bubble of Top 10: Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Houston

Bottom 5 teams:
28. Tampa Bay
29. Kansas City
30. Detroit
31. St. Louis
32. Cleveland

Week 10 shapes up to be a good week of football with the two key matchups being in the AFC. The matchups of Cincinnati at Pittsburgh and New England at Indianapolis could shake up the NFL Power Rankings heading into week 11.
