NFL Power Rankings: Week 12

1. Indianapolis Colts - They aren't blowing teams away but are still undefeated.
2. New Orleans Saints - Still undefeated and have shown they can win coming from behind.
3. Minnesota Vikings
4. New England Patriots - The Patriots were able to rebound after last week's debacle and avenge the loss to the Jets earlier this year.
5. San Diego Chargers - San Diego is gaining steam and making Denver an after thought.
6. Cincinatti Bengals
7. Arizona Cardinals - Assuming Warner and Boldin are healthy, the Cardinals can make another playoff run.
8. Philadelphia Eagles
9. Pittsburgh Steelers - The loss to KC certainly doesn't help, but should be considered a fluke.
10. Baltimore Ravens

NFL Power Rankings 1-10 analysis:
The Ravens can run, pass, and play defense. It's surprising they are just 5-5...Pittsburgh's loss shouldn't worry anybody. Come playoff time, they'll be there...The Vikings aren't undefeated but couldn't you see them beating either the Colts or Saints?

11. Green Bay Packers - Key injuries on defense will hurt this team long term.
12. New York Giants
13. Atlanta Falcons - The loss of Michael Turner hurts.
14. Tennessee Titans - There's too much ground to make up, but what a nice turnaround.
15. Houston Texans
16. Denver Broncos - This skid was predictable.
17. Dallas Cowboys - The offense has been a big let down the past 2 games.
18. Miami Dolphins
19. San Francisco 49ers - They still haven't put it all together, but the future looks good.
20. Jacksonville Jaguars - Can Jones-Drew power run this team into the playoffs?

NFL Power Rankings 11-20 analysis:
Am I the only one surprised to look at the NFL standings and see the Cowboys have a 7-3 record? They barely beat Washington and Kansas City and were shutdown by Green Bay...I like the New York Giants to make a run. The 4 losses in a row came to quality teams (Saints, Cardinals, Eagles, Chargers), and as the weather turns, they can power run with Brandon Jacobs into the playoffs...Watching the Houston Texans play on Monday Night Football, I get the feeling they have the players, but the play calling needs to get better. First and goal from the 8, and for some reason they think Chris Brown running it up the middle is a good idea.

21. Chicago Bears - Jay Cutler's interceptions and incompletions are hard to watch.
22. Carolina Panthers
23. New York Jets
24. Seattle Seahawks
25. Washington Redskins
26. Tampa Bay Bucs
27. Kansas City Chiefs
28. Buffalo Bills
29. Oakland Raiders
30. St. Louis Rams
31. Detriot Lions - The development of Stafford has been a silver lining.
32. Cleveland Browns - Time to let Brady Quinn play without benching him.

NFL Power Rankings 21-32 analysis: Watching Carolina on Thursday night gave me a front row seat of just how much Jake Delhomme drags this team down. If he could even be a decent game manager, they'd at least still be in the hunt... After a hot start, the wheels have fallen off Mark Sanchez and the Jets... The Lions and Browns played the game of the year. Too bad the reason they were so evenly matched was that they both suck.
