The Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints offensive line have given both quarterbacks the luxury of being able to complete passes to their elite receiving corp. There is no doubt that Drew Brees has somewhat of an edge on Peyton Manning after defeating The New England Patriots in week twelve, the final score was New Orleans Saints 38 - The Pats 17. Not only did this win give the Saints more motivation to secure home field advantage over their opponents, it also gives the Saints a reason to believe that this may their year to win a trip to Miami and appear in Super Bowl XLIV.
Anyone that is a fan of The Indianapolis Colts is well aware that Peyton Manning quest is to return his team to another Super Bowl residing under their new head coach Jim Caldwell. Without a doubt - a great defense is what gives the edge to a team winning some of their most important games nearing the end of the regular season, and during the playoff race. Coach Sean Payton and Jim Caldwell know the value of their quarterbacks is the reason why they have had the success in the post season so far. But the coaches know very well that a great team is not led by one individual player, it is made up of defenses that can stop the run on third down, and also make big plays which may lead to important and vital interceptions that can change the outcome of a game.
As amazing as it may seem, The Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints could face each other in a Super Bowl match up, it may not be as far fetched or improbable to believe that this could not happen. My perspective is that Indianapolis Colts have a better chance of completing a 16 and 0 season due to the playing ability of Peyton Manning and Coach Jim Caldwell mindset. There is one team that may throw a curve-ball to the New Orleans Saints from reaching a perfect 16 and 0 season, and it is none other than The Washington Redskins. The next few weeks may be some of the most exciting NFL Football that fans will remember for many years to come.
