More information on my record below.

Saints +6 over COLTS

The Colts and the Saints will put points on the board and the Saints should be able to hang with the Colts. The Colts also do poorly in their season openers. This should definitely be a high scoring affair, which brings me to...

Saints/COLTS over 52.5

Both of these teams have lights out offenses and questionable defenses. The Colts put a nice defensive run together in the playoffs, but I doubt that that will continue. If the offenses are not rusty, the points should flow.

RAMS pk over Panthers

The Panthers looked horrible in the preseason and their offense looks terrible on paper. The Rams should be fighting for a division championship this season and will look to start off on the right foot at home. I will take Steven Jackson and the Rams at home with the pick.

Chiefs/TEXANS over 38

The Chiefs and the Texans have far from the best defenses and while the offenses are not great they can put up points. Larry Johnson on one side and an improved quarterback on the other makes this game look like it will go over.

Steelers -4.5 over BROWNS

The Steelers have something to prove coming out of the gate against the Browns this week. Rothlisberger looked better in the preseason and the Browns, without Quinn playing, looked atrocious. The Steelers should be able to cover in this matchup.

BENGALS -3 over Ravens

The Bengals, like the Steelers, should improve this season. Carson Palmer should be better after his mediocre season coming back from his knee injury. The Bengals should be able to put enough points on the board to cover the spread while the Ravens offense will probably look as anemic as ever.

Broncos -3 over BILLS

The Broncos will give there best shot at challenging the Chargers for the AFC West this season and will start off the season right against the Bills. This should be a low scoring game and the Broncos defense will make the difference. Marshawn Lynch did not have a good preseason and will struggle to move the ball and JP Losman will not make the difference. Cutler and Henry will get enough of the job done to cover.
