Thanksgiving Day Games
New England @ Detroit 12:30 pm FOX This is the traditional game where each year Detroit's Lions get roasted in chilly Detroit to a crispy finish in three short hours...OUCH, turn down the heat --that's HOT!
New Orleans @ Dallas 4:15 CBS Dallas once again looks good enough to win, but can we trust our recent eyes or the Cowboys overall record? Will the Cowboys out skill the glaringly skillful Saints? Watch and see if you're right or wrong about your thoughts...keep it to yourself though...
Cincinnati @ New York Jets 8:20 pm NFLN This game on the NFL Network isn't available to most people except for those with extended football packages available to them. The game will feature the Bengals against the Jets...the Jets are really featured and the Bengals are going to be featured on I would guess...
Sunday Early Games
Jacksonville @ New York Giants 1:00 pm CBS The Giants host this game and could crush the Jags though maybe the CBS coverage will advocate for the Jags and harmonize the Jags legal issues with winning...they certainly have a very talented quarterback in David Garrard. CBS projects a possibly confounding melancholy on the Jags offense...
Pittsburgh @ Buffalo 1:00 pm CBS Buffalo is filled to full with problems against the Steelers who won't surrender 49 points to the Bills as did Cincinnati last week.
Tennessee @ Houston CBS 1:00pm CBS Houston and Tennessee ought to put up points though the word is that Vince Young is grounded , but I doubt the veracity of the source of that thought.
Green Bay @ Atlanta 1:00 pm FOX Atlanta hosts the traveling-Pack at the Georgia Dome where they are highly and well reputed and actually deliver consistently winning performances...the Packers will take the Falcons to the limit though I suspect they'll fall short to the birds in this one...
Carolina @ Cleveland 1:00 pm FOX I wasn't going to sleep through this one because I knew FOX would jar me to consciousness to experience the thrill which is Carolina who is still running Mr battery-bunny/robot-FOX-boy.
Minnesota @ Washington 1:00 pm FOX Washington will win this one I'm sure unless I missed a time machine story for America's favorite, Brett Favre.
Kansas City @ Seattle 1:00 pm CBS This one figures to be a high-scoring one though I don't assess the West coast teams accurately...Seattle hardly ever runs the ball and will launch at least fifty passes in this one if their running backs aren't healthy yet.
Sunday Late Games
Miami @ Oakland 4:05 pm CBS Oakland is back in the Oakland Coliseum and they have a chance to win though their youthful team is smarting from the Week 11 beat down by the Steelers...can Miami go on the road and win one?...I'm not sure.
Philadelphia @ Chicago 4:15 pm FOX Chicago has to my surprise gone 7-3 with an inefficient offense that actually has shown improvement...Jay Cutler has a great arm though I don't often hear anything about his receivers catching on to that fact.
St Louis @ Denver 4:15 pm FOX Denver and Chicago castoff Kyle Orton could score some points in this one...I figure they win this one against the road-Rams.
Tampa Bay @ Baltimore 4:15 pm FOX Baltimore is heavily favored in this one and I don't know exactly why...I think Tampa Bay can stay close to the Ravens, but I don't think they'll win...it might be I'm wrong.
Sunday Night Game
San Diego @ Indianapolis 8:20 pm NBC San Diego figures to score a lot of points in this one as do the Colts...it's hard to assess this one. Injuries to skill players and lineman who protect the quarterbacks are the key to understanding these passing teams. Either team could win and the Colts will be favored by a handful of points in early betting.
Monday Night Game
San Francisco @ Arizona 8:30 pm ESPN This match up has got to be grating to ESPN...Arizona (yawn) and San Francisco (snore, yawn, yawn, snore) figure to raise their consciousness to greet the Monday night audience, but the Arizona college kids--the Cardinals play at the University of Phoenix Stadium--are a little wary of attention since they aren't sure if they are scheduled to graduate to the professional ranks yet. I think all pro teams should experience the humbleness of playing home games in a college stadium.
