NFL Week 13 Sit/Start Receivers

Which Receivers You Should Start or Sit

Chris Matteson
Start:

Reggie Wayne: Wayne is the top receiver in the league at this point in the season. Manning and Wayne have hooked up for some big gains. 80+ yards, 1-2 TD

Donald Driver: Driver has been making huge plays this year for the Packers. 60+ yards, 1 TD

Larry Fitzgerald: Fitzgerald has been a huge playmaker this year and has the ability to run right past the Vikings secondary. 90+ yards, 1-2 TD

Andre Johnson: Johnson is arguably the best receiver in the league. He should capitalize against the Jaguars secondary. 80+ yards, 0-1TD

Marques Colston: Drew Brees threw a monster game against the Patriots tough defense. If he can have a repeat performance with Colston, he should put up huge numbers this week. 80+ yards, 1-2 TD

Chad Ochocinco: Ochocinco has become more productive as the season has progressed. The Bengals are playing one of the worst pass defenses in the league, so Ochocinco should put up good numbers this week. 70+ yards, 0-1 TD

Miles Austin: Dallas proved me wrong last week and they were able to get the ball moving through the air. 80+ yards, 0-1 TD

Randy Moss: Even though Moss isn't the top receiver this year, he is still putting up descent numbers week in and week out. 60+ yards, 0-1 TD

Brandon Marshall: The Broncos got the ball moving through the air last week and they should be able to keep it up against Kansas City. 60+ yards, 0-1 TD

Vincent Jackson: The Chargers are playing one of the worst defenses in the league. With the way the Chargers played last week, Jackson should put up big points. 70+ yards, 0-1 TD

Percy Harvin: Speed, good hands, Good routes, possibility of a kick return TD, and BRETT FAVRE! 60+ yards, 1-2 TD

Greg Jennings: The Packers have "The Best" passing game in the league. Rodgers can air it out, and his receivers will catch it. With Jennings' speed and hands, he should make a few big plays. 70+ yards, 0-2 TD

Sit:

T.J. Houshmandzadeh: Hasselback hasn't been performing well this year. The passing game is struggling and it should be reflected this week against the 49ers' defense. 50+ yards, 0-1 TD

Hines Ward: Ward said a few harsh things this week about Big Ben, Roethlisberger may not want to throw the ball to him this week. 50+ yards 0-1TD

Steve Smith (Panthers): Smith is recovering from a rib injury and was shut out last week against the Jets. He might be a little hesitant this week going up for the wild passes from Delhomme. 50+ yards, 0-1 TD

Calvin Johnson: Johnson was injured last week and you could tell. He isn't able to push off his bad knee and doesn't have the acceleration he usually shows. Not only that, but Stafford has an injured shoulder that is affecting his throwing game. 50+ yards, 0-1 TD

Chris Chambers: Chambers is a great receiver. Unfortunately, he has no one on the other side to attract some attention 50+ yards, 0-1 TD

Devin Hester: Hester cannot run a descent route. Even though he is fast, he is having troubles getting past the opponent's secondary. 40+ yards, 0-1 TD
