NFL Week 3 Matchups and Predictions

Winners and Losers

LIVIN
Michael Vick returns to NFL action this week against the Kansas City Chiefs, while the health of Donovan McNabb is questionable (rib). McNabb or no McNabb, the Philadelphia Eagles will beat the Kansas City Chiefs. The Jacksonville Jaguars play a must win game travelling to play the Houston Texans. The 0-2 Jaguars will bounce back against the 1-1 Houston Texans and steal a divisional win with the help of star running back Maurice Jones-Drew. Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts' offense will continue to show it doesn't matter how few times they touch the ball, because it's not the quantity, but the quality of their touches that matters; just ask Chad Pennington. The New York Jets will continue their defensive domination in week 3 under the leadership of head coach Rex Ryan as they face off against the Tennessee Titans; Chris Johnson is fast, but the Jets will swarm. Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints offense will continue having fun slinging the ball around the field, wherever they're playing - this week they travel to beat the Buffalo Bills. The offseason addition of Darren Sharper on the defense (from the Minnesota Vikings) doesn't hurt. I like what Mike Singletary and the San Francisco 49ers are doing, but I think the Minnesota Vikings will squeeze out a divisional win at home in week 3. A Miami Dolphins team that held the ball for three quarters of the game against the Indianapolis Colts travels to face a San Diego Chargers team which is having some injury issues. Chad Ocho Cinco will be at home in Cincinnati in his week 3 matchup against the Steelers, but it's a matchup against the Steelers, even a Polamalu-less Steelers. This week on Monday Night Football, the team of the Carolinas travels to the alleged team of America - the Dallas Cowboys and that stadium with that ridiculous big screen.
