NFL Week 6 Predictions, Best Bets

Wordsleuth
NFL Best Bets for Week 6. The sixth week of the NFL season is upon us and the lines are out. So what are the NFL Best Bets for Week 6? Here they are:

There are definitely some interesting matchups this week. I have decided to go with a few teams that are in must win situations. The Bengals and the Eagles need to win this weekend as do a few other teams and this should be enough motivation to cover the spread.

Bengals -3 over CHIEFS

The Bengals need to win this game. They are a much better team than they have been pretending to be so far this season. While their defense is nowhere close to even good, the Chiefs offense will still have trouble scoring. I see an easy win for the Bengals this weekend.

Texans +6.5 over JAGUARS

The Jaguars are a good team, but the Texans are improved. This is a AFC South division rivalry and that will be enough to make this game a contest. The Jags are not good enough to be touchdown favorites on anybody and they won't cover that number verse the Texans.

BROWNS -4.5 over Dolphins

The Browns are a pretty good football team. This team was the only one to not lose to the Patriots by more than 20 points, that has to say something. With Derek Anderson at quarterback they have really found an offense, and the Dolphins will have a hard time stopping them. 4.5 points is a gift.

Eagles -3 over JETS

The Eagles just have to be a better football team than they have been playing like. They should be able to beat the Jets this weekend, as this is a game they desperately need to win and they will not be overlooking them. The Jets just don't have the talent to win this weekend.

Rams +9.5 over RAVENS

This game is plain and simple for me. I don't see any way that the Ravens can score enough points to win this game by double-digits. They will win in the end, but any points put on the board by the Rams will make it that much tougher.

CARDINALS -4 over Panthers

The Cardinals look like a completely different team with Kurt Warner at quarterback and he will be at the helm this weekend. His command of the offense is key as the Cardinals will put up the points necessary to beat the Panthers handily.

Giants -3 over FALCONS

The Falcons were impressive at home the other week, but that was against the Texans. The Giants really seemed to have turned a corner defensively and with some offensive support they should easily win this game.

REDSKINS/Packers under 40.5

The Redskins and the Packers both have great defenses, but their offenses could use some work. This line seems inflated because of the Redskins 34 point performance last weekend, but that was against the Lions. The Pack will be able to stop them more and I see a game in the teens for both teams.

RAVENS/Rams under 37

Two of the NFL's worst offenses so far this season will be playing in this game and I see know way that this will surpass 37 points. The Ravens defense also looked to turn a corner last week, making it look pretty impossible for the Rams to put up many points.

CHIEFS/Bengals over 41.5

The Bengals can score, but they can't stop anyone from scoring. I see this game clearing 41.5 points without much of a problem. A few touchdowns by the Chiefs will all but secure a win for the over.

Recap:
