NFL Week One Office Pool Predictions

More Upsets Brewing in Week One?

The office pool scene for the NFL season is looking strong yet again and many people are focusing which teams to make predictions on in week one.

The Thursday night game between Green Bay and New Orleans is just one of the top games that fans have an eye on this time around but there are many gems on Sunday as well.

The upset potential in week one is also very strong because teams come in with reputations that aren't deserved in some case due to offseason changes.

Here are office pool predictions for some of the most interesting first week games including some that may have upset potential according to the analysts.

Atlanta at Chicago, Sunday: The Bears seem to have a real shot at springing the upset here being at home. But the Falcons look like one of the most complete teams in the NFC and the Bears need to work some kinks out early. Go with Atlanta.

Indianapolis at Houston- The Colts are obviously without Peyton Manning, and they've had a hard time with the Texans at unexpected times in the recent past. The Kerry Collins addition might be enough to make a run at a playoff spot later but for now he is too green in the offense and Indianapolis has a major adjustment to make. The Texans are explosive and primed for a playoff spot; go with them here.

Minnesota at San Diego- The Chargers were tops in the NFL in both offense and defense last year and are playing at home. This is a tough opener for the Vikings. Minnesota has a shot if Donovan McNabb plays well but the Chargers are the smart prediction to make here.

Dallas at New York Jets- The Cowboys aren't expected to do a whole lot this year but the offensive skill gives them a shot against the Jets who play too conservatively at times. Still, New York has too much talent across the board for the Cowboys on Sunday Night.

The Jets are the top NFL office pool prediction to make here because they have had much more success in big games recently as well.
